On September 1, 2014, I had the privilege of doing makeup for the wedding of a long time friend. Jessika and I go way back to the age of making snow forts, singing on the trampoline, and laughing 'til our faces hurt. Well, a long time has passed since then, and we have outgrown two of those things. Fortunately, there is no amount of years that could keep us from cracking each other up, which made her wedding day makeup SO FUN. In the spurts of time between laughing, we were able to get her looking flawless and all ready to meet her Groom. Her easygoing attitude was so easy to work with made everything go so smoothly. For someone who normally doesn't wear a lot of makeup, that was a wonderful thing. And I'm so thankful that Ashley Erin Photography was able to capture these awesome moments! The look we picked for Jessika was a mix of earth toned smokey shadows in the outer corners and crease and fresh dewy highlights in the inner corners and brow bone. We added a thin black gel liner and a few pieces of false lashes to be the cherry on top. It went a little bit like this: Have questions about which products were used, or how to get the same flawless foundation? Stay tuned for the next blog post or contact me to ask!
